Ben May Artistic Work

Ben May’s always tries to make his artwork capture “the spirit of the place” for which it is intended . It is this spirit which has a major influence upon his initial design. However, although his initial concept remains the same, the sculptural form may differ considerably from that initially envisaged. This is a consequence of the character unfolded in the wood as the project develops. This is why it is important for Ben to do the artwork himself rather than commission someone else to work up his design.
