May lives and works at Lower Upcott Farm near Hatherleigh.
Ben May is a craftsman and an artist. In his rural studio, he creates
unique sculptures from the wood grown in local woodlands.

Ben runs his farm in a traditional manner, working the land with Shire horses. As
well as creating his own unique woodland art, Ben runs a variety of courses
where he demonstrates practical skills in woodland crafts for the novice
or more experienced.
