Organised by arrangement with you at a time convenient to us both, this heavy horse course takes you back into a different era and gives you the opportunity to gain as much “hands on experience” of working a heavy horse as possible and is tailor made to your requirements. For example, we can do a combination of driving work, field work and horse logging work, or just one of these if you prefer, although ground conditions and time of year will have an influence on this. It is not a requirement for you to have worked with horses before as we will tailor the course to your needs and abilities.

Ben has been doing horse logging demonstrations for about 10 years now. Demonstrations usually take about half an hour. So that Ben can speak while he is working with the horse, a roving microphone is necessary. In addition to this, timber needs to be provided to work with.

Rate : £250-£300 per day

is available for booking for horse logging demonstrations.
